HI THERE. I'M ERIC, AN ART DIRECTOR CURRENTLY AT OPI PRODUCTS. I’VE BEEN DESIGNING IN THE PRO BEAUTY INDUSTRY FOR OVER A DECADE, WORKING WITH INCREDIBLY TALENTED PEOPLE.
Education is a passion too, and i love being an instructor, learning and passing it on. I’ve been fortunate to be a part-time design instructor since ’01. I also freelance with various companies large and small on brand creative, from design strategy to production, delivering the visual tools needed to communicate their brands. But other times, the only thing needed is a logo, or a holiday card, or a series of 3-pack promos. Love it all. Love it even better if it’s in print. Digital is great, and we can’t live without both. But, my happy-place lies in the touchy-feely, smell the ink, get your hands dirty, print world. Now my wife, Tina, is an art director in the beauty world too. We love our family of animals, love getting healthy—working on loving fitness—she has a love for a good hot toddy and i’ll take a dirty dry martini. I make lists and love checking items off the lists, love forests, paper and some good hand-set type (metal or wood) locked into the chase of a chandler & price platen press. That's letterpress love. It all comes together, all one’s passions and experiences, and makes for great work.
